This dates will be remembered by Mason Countians for many years to come. On Saturday March 22 the Mason County Royals basketball team won the 2008 State High School basketball tournament. On Monday, March 24 George Clooney came home for a screening of his new movie Leatherheads at the restored Washington Opera House and then on Tuesday March 25 past president Bill Clinton made a campaign stop on behalf of his wife Hilliary at Mason County Fieldhouse.
